Here is one leftover from winter quarter. This was at the Appalachian Hell Betties team dinner.
I know I haven't uploaded anything in a while, I will try and get better at it again, I promise!

It is my pleasure to introduce to you the Appalachian Hell Betties, Athens first and only roller derby team, who held their first fundraiser at the Smiling Skull on March 4th. It was a great time and they raised lots of money to buy safety equipment and get a real practice space! These are an awesome group of girls and I've had fun telling their story and am looking forward to keep doing so in the future.

The Athens Polar Bear Plunge was held to support Special Olympics Ohio in Strouds Run State Park on Saturday. It was interesting, to say the least.

Oireachtas 2010
3 days filled with nonstop irish music. My sister, Annie, has been irish dancing for about 6 years now, and this is the fourth Oireachtas we've been to. The Oireachtas is a regional competition that qualifies dancers for worlds and nationals. In the end, she reached her goal by placing 35th, qualifying her to compete in the national competition. Here is a backstage look to all the madness.

I was lucky enough to get away and spend a lovely weekend in Chicago.
